Singapore - Pulau Hantu
Who Should Enrol for this?
Certified, and you just want to experience the exhilaration of diving again without breaking the bank? Join us in a half-day local leisure dive at Pulau Hantu.
Is It Safe?
The Dive Ship and its partners keep safety in mind without compromising fun – we pick dive sites along the island without strong currents and undercurrents. What more, you may expect an average visibility between 3-4 metres (pst! we have experienced up to 10 metres visibility during certain periods of the year).
Please note that there is a minimum of 4 pax for the trip to take place. Dive guides are compulsory at $150 per guide per half day.
What Will You Experience?
The diversity of marine life at Pulau Hantu is startling. Dive among the sea fans, sponge corl, soft coral and anemone that have made this island a sanctuary.
Commonly spotted during Hantu dives are the anemone fish, hermit crabs, flower crabs, barracuda, nurse sharks, black trip ref sharks, seahorses, spanish dancers, sea slugs and resident turtles.
Many different species of nudibranchs can also be found here along with the slug since nicknamed “Shaun the Sheep”. Most recently in August 2015, a sawblade shrimp – a very rare find – was sighted.
